National Desk, May 12, 2025 : Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus emphasized that addressing healthcare challenges requires collective efforts rather than blaming one another.
He stressed the need for unified action to improve the healthcare sector and address its shortcomings.
Speaking at the inaugural session of the first-ever Civil Surgeon Conference held at his office on Monday (May 12), Dr. Yunus shared these remarks.
He stated, “Face-to-face interactions can resolve many issues. I hope this conference will yield positive outcomes.” He added, “We often blame each other for healthcare problems, but blame games won’t solve anything. We have shortcomings, and we must question ourselves about them.”
The Chief Adviser noted that significant progress in healthcare is possible despite limitations. “The interim government is working within its constraints. Healthcare doesn’t require rigid frameworks—it transcends politics,” he said.
The two-day conference, part of healthcare reform initiatives, aims to gather insights from district-level senior officials on challenges and priorities. The event was formally inaugurated by the Chief Adviser
